my-first-post.md

This is my personal blog. That’s it. Just a space to share thoughts on music, learning, and life. There is no Linktree, no call-to-action, no portfolio, no push to check out something you don’t care about.

If that’s enough for you, that rules.

Everything below is not important, but this is still my blog.
So, I’ll use this opportunity to write more words.

Some context

I have followed ashastral and mmaker’s pages for years. Their perspective matters to me; they are always giving me something to think about and have meaningfully improved my life by helping me become better at communicating my own thoughts.

So, I kept telling my friends I would “make a website” as well. But sharing what you’re working on is the fastest way to kill it. And that is what happened.

It’s 2025, and my life looks nothing like it did five years ago.

In that span, I’ve moved across five states, lost weight, made new friends, written music, contributed to commercial games, and, most notably, eliminated social media from my day-to-day.

Obviously, this isn’t entirely true. I still use Reddit, find Facebook Marketplace useful, and keep Twitter open to respond to DMs. But I’ve lacked a space online to capture my thoughts for a while now. And there’s a certain loneliness that comes with it.

This space is really just for my fixationsβ€”cool computer software, written guides, thoughts on my favorite music, interesting stuff I come across, documenting the process of making things, and some experiences worth sharing.

There is also a lot of stuff I want that currently does not exist online. And my main drive for creating is more often than not, “What if this thing didn’t suck?” It has been extremely successful for both my motivation and results.

I also hope this website helps me become a better communicator. Thinking of what to say in this introduction took five minutes. Writing it took over an hour. Sad, right?

The format

Well, there isn’t really one.
But I’ll still explain how my posts will be titled and organized.

And that’s pretty much it

If you got this far, thanks. You’re either a great friend, skipped literally everything, or a hardcore internet stalker who found something I made online once and chose to investigate my entire life.

You are always welcome to keep in touch.
