Site changes

Did a light website refresh. Updated the font to Inter (my beloved), visually cleaned up some older posts for consistency, made pointless css tweaks, and re-encoded some webms to load faster.

The site’s avatar has also been updated.
Thank you, Souichirou Yamamoto, for blessing me with new Ichinose artwork.

What I’m working on right now

For the first time in a while: not a lot worth sharing.

Been doing a lot of tedious financial tracking. Writing a lot of documentation. Nothing I would share openly on a blog. And I’ve learned not to talk about things in progress to help keep my head clear. And to avoid the false sense of completion and dopamine that comes with it.

Not everything is about output though. Got back into band games with Yet Another Rhythm Game, began daily journaling in February, built a cozy farm in Stardew Valley, and started purchasing untranslated manga and LNs to flex my Japanese. I’ve also begun a daily art challenge I’m actually enjoying, and should be wrapping up by the end of May.

Back to posts

More posts are happening. Like guides on software, low-stakes journaling, arguments, and some practical advice on music and freelance. That last bit will take longer, and I want to do those posts justice. Many of these posts I’ve had in the drafts for the last four months.

Which makes now a great time to mention I have a not-fucked-up RSS feed. The feed only really links back to the site when there’s a new post. This is actually intentional. Sorry to the 7 people following the RSS feed.
